Dec. 6th, 2018 11:11 amSo, I've had some time (not much, not enough) looking around DW. I'm not sure how long it will take me to get the hang of things around here, if this is going to become a more permanent home. But the basics seem to be pretty forward enough to at least try.
This post is to say HI to my new followers here and to let you know a few things:
1) I've been subscribing and granting access to pretty much everyone around here who subscribed to me or whose name I recognised from tumblr. I have been actively searching for tumblr folks, too. If I've followed you/granted you access and you do not want me to, first of all I apologise - I have no idea what DW netiquette dictates for following/granting access. Secondly, just leave me a quick note and I will make sure to remedy my mistake.
2) Also I have started by granting everyone and their cats access to my journal before I even knew what that meant (yeah I know smart move, Sandra 😜). I have come to understand that on DW I can post public posts and private posts, that are only meant for my circle of friends aka those granted access. For the time being I'm not gonna stop granting access to everybody as I'm quite sure most of what I post would be public anyway. But there might come a time where I'm gonna want to change that for whatever reason. I doubt it, but just to be safe I thought I'd let you know.
3) Talking about posting: This journal will be pretty much semi-dormant at the moment. I'll check this site every day to keep up with new subscriptions, adding people, replying to comments and saying hello, if I have the time. But right now there won't be many posts on here.
